Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a Lead Foodservice Worker in Minnesota to join our family-owned, chef-driven school lunch team. You will lead a kitchen crew, prepare and serve nutritious meals and help with cleaning and setup on weekdays in a school setting.

As a Lead Foodservice Worker you’ll train staff, ensure food safety, and support daily paperwork and ordering tasks. Competitive pay and benefits accompany a stable schedule with no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a related role preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Able to follow spoken and written directions.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns work to the team and oversees completion of tasks.
• Trains and guides staff on duties, food safety, sanitation and customer service.
• Prepares and builds food items according to recipes and directions.
• Sets up condiments and utensil areas for service.
• Breaks down, cleans and sanitizes work stations.
• Contributes to a positive work environment.
• Demonstrates integrity, dependability, and punctuality.
• Maintains professional appearance and guest service.
• Follows food safety requirements/guidelines.
• Assists in daily paperwork, ordering and related tasks.

The estimated pay range for this job. Disclosing pay information promotes competitive and equitable pay. The actual pay rate will depend on the person's qualifications and experience.

$18.50 - $19.00 / hour
