Job summary

Mark-Taylor is seeking a Lead Service Technician in Surprise, AZ to support our apartment communities. You will handle maintenance repairs, contribute to make-ready operations, and deliver five-star service to residents, ensuring homes are safe and well-maintained.

You should bring 2+ years of related experience, strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and pool maintenance, plus EPA/CPO/HVAC certifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance technician experience in apartments or similar environment.
• Advanced knowledge in plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, landscape, appliances, OSHA standards.
• Industry-specific certifications (EPA, HVAC, CPO, or similar) required.
• Strong service orientation and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing make-ready units to Mark-Taylor standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on vacant units and common areas.
• Perform daily pool care and ensure chemical balance and safety.
