Job summary

Mark-Taylor is seeking a Multi-Site Lead Service Technician for Gilbert & Mesa, AZ. You will lead maintenance across the POD 2 communities, perform make-ready work, and ensure safety and high-quality repairs. On-call shifts add hourly incentive, with certifications boosting pay.

Expected to have 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience, strong HVAC/plumbing knowledge, and OSHA awareness. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apartment maintenance or service technician experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, and OSHA standards.
• Industry certifications (EPA, HVAC, CPO or similar) preferred.
• Leadership and mentoring ability.
• Strong communication and teamwork across communities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in make-ready units to Mark-Taylor standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on vacant units.
• Conduct daily pool care and chemical balance checks.
• Perform minor roof repairs and re-keying/lock work.
• Inspect for safety hazards and address issues with Facilities Manager.
• Share on-call duty with team; respond in uniform/badge when needed.
• Monitor inventory of parts and cleaning supplies.
• Train and mentor other Service Technicians.
