Summary

The Commercial Installation Lead provides customer equipment installation of HVACR and/or commercial kitchen equipment (e.g., fryers, grills, ovens, freezers).

Responsibilities include:

• Mentor, lead, and motivate team members in a safe, productive, and efficient manner.
• Install commercial HVACR and kitchen equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
• Design, fabricate, and install various ducts and duct fittings as required.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team regarding repairs and status updates.
• Coordinate part orders with the branch.
• Accurately document tasks, parts, work orders, and timesheets.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms per policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

• At least three years of installation experience with commercial kitchen and HVACR equipment (e.g., RTUs, chillers).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Successful background check and drug screening required.
• Valid Driver's License with a driving record that meets safety standards.

Skills and Abilities:

• Leadership and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Plumbing background is a plus.
• HVAC certification or contractor/journeyman status is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Working / Environmental Conditions:

• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly; up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Frequent travel to work sites.
• Exposure to high and low temperatures, electrical, steam, and heat hazards requiring safety precautions.
• Physical activities include bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing ladders, and lifting.
