Welcome Home Garage Doors is seeking a skilled and reliable Garage Door Installer/Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial garage doors and related systems. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install new residential and commercial garage doors and openers, including springs, cables, tracks, and motors.

• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning garage doors and related components.

• Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections.

• Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.

• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding work performed and any additional recommendations.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including company vehicle and tools.

• Follow all safety procedures and protocols.

• Accurately complete service tickets, invoices, and other required documentation.

• Stay up to date with product knowledge, tools, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 3+ years of experience in garage door installation and/or repair (will consider training the right candidate).

• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in a variety of environments and weather conditions.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications:

• Experience with both residential and commercial doors.

• Certifications from IDEA (Institute of Door Dealer Education and Accreditation) a plus.
