As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and functionality of our properties. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining and improving our residents' living experiences. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Diagnosing and repairing issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware, masonry, painting/wallpaper, water features, and waste management systems.
• Assisting with creating and organizing work orders and general maintenance tasks. Completing work orders and repairs efficiently and according to standards.
• Preparing vacant apartments and garages for rent, including cleaning, repairs, and touch-ups to ensure readiness.
• Training, mentoring, and supervising Maintenance Technicians I and II.
• Conducting preventative maintenance on apartments.
• Inspecting grounds and buildings daily to identify maintenance needs.
• Maintaining a safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures.
• Performing hot works such as brazing, soldering, and welding as needed.

You Have

• At least 3 years of maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
• A valid driver’s license.
• HVAC (CFC) certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with residents and team members.
• Ability to understand policies and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of chemical handling, SDS, PPE, and emergency systems.
