Summary:
The Service Technician II provides maintenance, service, and repair for commercial cooking equipment and refrigeration, including grills, fryers, ovens, ice machines, reach-in and walk-in coolers, and freezers.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen equipment and refrigeration.
- Communicate status updates regarding parts and repairs with support and customers.
- Complete service calls accurately and promptly.
- Audit truck stock to ensure necessary parts are available.
- Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms according to safety standards.
- Meet on-call requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least three years of experience in commercial kitchen repair and/or refrigeration.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Successful background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills; automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical background a plus.
- Journeyman License and/or CFESA certification are a plus but not required.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good driving record.
