Job Title: Lead Service Now Developer

Responsibilities

• Have the ability to assist requesters in refining business requirement details to ensure the customers will receive the functionality requested.
• Gain knowledge of our Service Now implementation to understand and identify cross-platform impacts of changes or enhancements being requested.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions including custom applications, workflows, catalog items, and integrations to meet complex business requirements
• Design and implement workflows to support business needs and increase automation
• Develop and configure integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using integration spokes or custom APIs
• Build and maintain custom applications following best practices to ensure performance and maintainability
• Work within the Agile methodology to develop, build, and test alongside other developers to ensure the best product is delivered to requestors in a timely manner
• Work with implementation partners or internal project teams to implement new modules as business needs evolve
• Conduct regular ServiceNow version upgrades to ensure we remain compliant and supported by the vendor

Key Skills, Requirements, and Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a relevant technical field
• Service Now Certified Application Developer.
• At least 5+ years’ experience working with the ServiceNow platform, preferably across SPM, ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, and HR modules
• Strong understanding of ITIL principles and practices
• Proven experience with integrating ServiceNow with other applications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
