Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. (TCB) in Lincoln, MA seeks a Service Technician III to maintain and turnover apartments with strong customer service.

This lead tech works independently across interior, exterior, and site grounds five days a week in the office. Responsibilities include diagnosing repairs across appliances, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC; handling on-call emergencies; supervising preventive maintenance with vendors; prepping vacant units; and supporting REAC/HQS readiness

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; trade school or 5+ years progressive responsibility in property management or hospitality.
• 5+ years advanced hands-on repair experience in three or more building trades; REAC/HQS experience preferred.
• Industry-Trade certifications/degrees (NAHMS, CAMT, OSHA, HVAC, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, and basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Respond to service requests and on-call emergencies promptly as directed by management.
• Complete or monitor preventive maintenance tasks for building systems, equipment, and components.
• Prepare and repair vacant apartments for new resident move-ins.
• Maintain grounds and common spaces through cleaning, trash management, landscaping, and snow removal.
• Prepare and make repairs for REAC/HQS inspections and audits.
• Maintain maintenance shop and inventory with safety mindset and PPE.
