Job summary

The Community Builders Inc. is seeking a Service Technician III to join our in-house maintenance team in Baltimore. Under the Service Maintenance Manager, you will lead repairs across appliances, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, and support apartment turnover with a strong customer-service focus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; trade school or 5 years of progressive responsibility in property management or hospitality preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of advanced hands-on repair experience in three or more building trades.
• Experience with diagnostics and troubleshooting preferred (REAC/HQS experience preferred).
• Industry-trade certifications/degrees (NAHMS, CAMT, OSHA, HVAC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Respond to service requests and on-call emergencies promptly and professionally.
• Monitor vendor preventive maintenance for building systems and components.
• Prepare and repair vacant apartments for new residents move-ins.
• Maintain grounds and common spaces, cleaning, trash disposal, landscaping, and snow removal.
