Job summary

Transwest Inc. is seeking a Foreman to lead the service department by dispatching orders to technicians and ensuring efficient completion of work. You will open and close repair orders and guide technicians to balance quality, productivity, and profitability.

The role requires strong leadership, customer relations, and shop operation knowledge, with a focus on scheduling and QA activities. A CDL-ready profile and prior journeyman experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.
• Ability to obtain a CDL within 90 days of employment.
• Journeyman or Lead Technician experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of how a service shop operates is imperative.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Technicians.
• Assist the Service Manager in training personnel.
• Carry out established policies and procedures.
• Perform quality assurance inspections and train Technicians.
• Assist in resolving customer complaints and relations.
• Assist Technicians with finish and repair work.
• Schedule, assign and supervise work to balance quality, productivity and profit.
• Supervise maintenance of tools and shop equipment.
