Job summary

Washington Commons by Barclay House is seeking a Lead Server in Georgia to provide gracious hospitality to residents and guests in a senior living environment. You will guide guests through menus, maintain dining standards, and support bar and coffee shop operations.

The role requires food service experience, ServSafe where applicable, and a team-oriented approach to delivering world-class service.

Qualifications

Must have caring heart and willingness to serve others.
High School Diploma or GED.
ServSafe certification if required by state.
Food server/hospitality experience required.
Bar Card preferred if state allows.
Willingness to work with elderly in senior living setting.
Knowledge of POS systems preferred.
Be flexible with shifts including holidays, weekends and events.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

Ensure residents and guests receive gracious hospitality and a pleasant dining experience.
Assist in Bar and Coffee Shop as scheduled.
Guide guests through menus with thorough knowledge of food and beverages.
Maintain standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene in dining areas.
Take accurate orders and work with team to deliver great food with world-class service.
Set and reset tables per company standards.
Assist with meal preparation if requested.
Assist with maintaining stock levels of bar, coffee shop and front of house.
Assist with special events and activities as requested
