Job summary

Washington Commons by Barclay House is seeking a Lead Server in Georgia to provide gracious hospitality to residents and guests in a senior living environment. You will guide guests through menus, maintain dining standards, and support bar and coffee shop operations.

The role requires food service experience, ServSafe where applicable, and a team-oriented approach to delivering world-class service.

Qualifications

• Must have caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• ServSafe certification if required by state.
• Food server/hospitality experience required.
• Bar Card preferred if state allows.
• Willingness to work with elderly in senior living setting.
• Knowledge of POS systems preferred.
• Be flexible with shifts including holidays, weekends and events.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with residents and staff.

• Assist in Bar and Coffee Shop as scheduled.
• Guide guests through menus with thorough knowledge of food and beverages.

• Set and reset tables per company standards.
• Assist with meal preparation if requested.
• Assist with maintaining stock levels of bar, coffee shop and front of house.
• Assist with special events and activities as requested

We are currently looking for a Lead Server for Washington Commons by Barclay House.

Primary Responsibilities of the Lead Server:

• Ensure that all residents and guests receive gracious hospitality and have a pleasant dining experience.
• Assist in Bar and Coffee Shop as scheduled.
• Guiding guests through menus, demonstrating thorough knowledge of the food and beverages.
• Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards in all dining areas.
• Taking accurate orders and partnering with team members to deliver great food in an organized manner as to deliver prompt, world class service
• Sets and reset tables in line with company standards.
• Assist with meal preparation if requested.
• Assist with maintaining stock levels of bar, coffee shop and front of the house.
• Assist with special events and activities as requested

Requirements
