Job summary

Barclay House of Baton Rouge is seeking a dedicated Server to deliver gracious hospitality to residents and guests in our senior living setting. You will guide guests through menus, support the Bar and Coffee Shop, and help maintain spotless dining areas to ensure a warm, world-class experience.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, ServSafe certification if required locally, and prior food service or hospitality experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
ServSafe certification if required by state.
Food server/hospitality experience preferred.
Willingness to work holidays, weekends, and special events.
Knowledge of a POS system preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Ensure residents and guests receive gracious hospitality and a pleasant dining experience.
Assist in Bar and Coffee Shop as scheduled.
Guide guests through menus with thorough knowledge of food and beverages.
Maintain standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health in dining areas.
Take accurate orders and work with team to deliver food with prompt, world class service.
Set and reset tables per company standards.
Assist with meal preparation if requested.
Maintain stock levels of bar, coffee shop and front of house.
Assist with special events and activities as requested
