Job summary

JLA Integrated Systems is seeking a Lead Security Technician to manage complex security installations at field/project sites. You will lead field crews, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with the Project Manager to deliver on time.

The role requires advanced technical leadership, 7+ years in electronic security, and certifications such as BICSI or OSHA 30. Expect a hands-on leadership position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years in electronic security, cabling, or system integration with field leadership experience.
• Certifications in BICSI, Verkada, Axis, OSHA 30 are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee installation goals, manpower, and field priorities for crews of 4–8 technicians.
• Monitor productivity, safety, and schedules for assigned scope.
• Lead installation, configuration, testing, and integration of access control, CCTV/VMS, intrusion, and related systems.
• Troubleshoot cabling, power, hardware, firmware, network connectivity, and system integration.
• Perform commissioning, testing, and manufacturer-specific setup within qualifications.
• Maintain field QA/QC inspections and as-built documentation; support project closeout and training.
