Active Security is seeking a Lead Security Systems Technician to oversee independent field operations, provide technical leadership, and guide project teams on complex security deployments.

The role requires extensive experience in electronic security, advanced programming, and strong project-management capabilities, with travel to sites as needed and strict adherence to standards such as ISO-9001, CMMI II, and DCAA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in electronic security, including systems integration, administration, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Strong commitment to ongoing education in compliance and project management.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight for varying lengths of time.

Responsibilities

• System Installation & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain complex security components to design specs.
• Project Leadership: Manage site safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Team Oversight & Mentorship: Supervise up to five junior technicians and ensure training.
• Technical Leadership: Perform complex troubleshooting and programming and on-site resolution.
• Customer & Project Coordination: Serve as on-site client liaison and communicate with project teams.
• Documentation: Complete required job documentation and ensure ISO/CMMI/DCAA compliance.
