Job summary

i2G Systems in the United States is seeking a Lead Technician to manage site installation of security solutions for new and existing clients, coordinating with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project success.

The role requires 5–7 years of experience in electronic security, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team to deliver high-quality installations and training.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of general access control systems.
• Thorough understanding of electronic security systems and onsite labor.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused with commitment to satisfaction.
• 5–7 years of physical/electronic security experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow and track project scheduling.
• Direct subcontractor and internal resource communications.
• Coordinate multiple technicians and subcontractors.
• Read and understand specifications, drawings, and controlling documents; maintain documentation.
• Perform installation and training on control systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain control systems for customers.
• Coordinate project activities with internal and external parties.
• Document and implement necessary project changes.
• Ensure work aligns with policies, procedures, and standards.
• Complete final Test and Acceptance of security systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
