Job summary

IES Communications is seeking a Security Systems Technician II to program and install security systems (card access, CCTV, CATV and intrusion) per manufacturer requirements and engineered drawings. The role also coordinates small installer crews to meet daily workload while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will be responsible for training crew members, ensuring timely completion of tasks, and maintaining accurate project paperwork as required by company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in commercial security systems or related telecom field and ability to supervise others.
• Proficient with listed tools and able to interpret blueprints and project documents.

Responsibilities

• Program and install security systems (card access, CCTV, CATV and intrusion) per manufacturer requirements and drawings.
• Lead crew performance, training, and coordinate personnel and timeline to complete projects.
• Complete IES COMMERCIAL paperwork accurately and on time (timesheets, work orders, change orders, etc.).
• Adhere to and participate in Company, customer and industry quality and safety standards and regulations.
