Job summary

ITG Larson, a White Plains, NY-based technology consulting firm, seeks a Senior Security Technician to own integrated security system installations and maintenance. You will work onsite at client sites, lead field work, and ensure quality across CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems.

The role requires deep technical skills, leadership in the field, and a strong customer focus, with safety and regulatory compliance as top priorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting integrated commercial security systems.
• Solid experience with access control and video surveillance systems.
• Solid understanding of basic electronics and the use of voltmeter.
• Proficient with low-voltage wiring, power supplies, system networking.
• Valid driver’s license; reliable transportation.
• Clean background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead installations and commissioning of security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and integrated security platforms.
• Provide advanced programming and configuration of systems; perform system testing, calibration, and fine‑tuning.
• Diagnose difficult issues, handle escalations from junior techs.
• Mentor and train junior technicians and apprentices.
• Interact with clients on site; explain operation, train end‑users.
• Ensure safety, company, and regulatory compliance on all jobs.
• Occasionally interact with our engineering department to help refine system’s design.
