Job summary

Active Security Consulting seeks a Lead Security Systems Technician to perform independent field operations, provide technical leadership, and manage projects for government and commercial clients. The role requires advanced installation, programming, and maintenance expertise in high-security environments.

The successful candidate will supervise teams, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with project managers and engineers while maintaining compliance with ISO-9001, CMMI II, and DCAA

Qualifications

• Graduate
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Completion of at least four industry certifications in electronic security
• Minimum of 5 years in electronic security, including systems integration, administration, and advanced troubleshooting, with a focus on compliance and adherence to government and independent standards.
• Strong commitment to ongoing education in compliance, industry advancements, complex programming, and project management practices.
• Ability to travel to projects and stay overnight for varying lengths of time.

Responsibilities

• System Installation & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain complex security system components with minimal supervision.
• Project Leadership: Manage site safety, quality, and schedule adherence per design specs and requirements.
• Team Oversight & Mentorship: Supervise and mentor teams of up to five technicians, ensuring training and task completion.
• Technical Leadership: Troubleshoot and diagnose complex systems, including programming and integration tasks.
• Customer & Project Coordination: Serve as on-site contact for clients and coordinate with project teams.
• Documentation: Complete job documentation and ensure compliance with ISO-9001, CMMI II, DCAA.
