Job summary

LINX is seeking a Security Installation Foreman to lead a crew of up to 10 technicians on commercial construction sites across Denver and the Front Range. This is a hands-on foreman role for someone installing and commissioning Genetec, Avigilon, and Software House/ CCure 9000 systems.

If your background is CCTV installation or residential security, this isn’t the right fit; experience with occupied commercial buildings, hospitals, and campuses is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial security integration experience including hands-on access control and video surveillance installation, programming, and commissioning (not primarily CCTV monitoring)
• Direct hands-on installing and commissioning experience with Genetec access control and video management systems
• Direct hands-on installing and commissioning experience with Avigilon video management systems and Software House/CCure 9000
• Proven crew leadership experience supervising a security installation crew of 10+ technicians on commercial construction projects
• Strong knowledge of electronic security systems (access control, video surveillance, intrusion, IP networking) and the ability to read construction drawings and schedules
• Must lift, carry 50+ pound equipment and own personal low voltage tools
• Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift and pass background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of up to 10 technicians on active commercial sites
• Plan daily manpower, labor allocation, and materials to hit milestones
• Mentor technicians on Genetec, Avigilon, CCure 9000, I-Star, Mercury, and HID installation standards
• Interpret drawings and hardware schedules to guide installation work
• Oversee programming, configuration, and commissioning of security systems
• Perform QA/QC review of installation and termination work
• Deliver crew updates to Project Manager and coordinate with trades
• Ensure safety and contract compliance across the crew
• Conduct daily site walks to verify conditions and quality
