Job summary

Atlantic Group in Boston, MA is seeking an SEC Reporting Manager to lead the company’s external financial reporting and SEC disclosures. The role partners with accounting, finance, legal, and external auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The position offers a hybrid schedule in Boston, with compensation between $150,000 and $200,000 per year plus bonus, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
Active CPA certification is required.
7+ years of progressive accounting, audit, SEC reporting, or financial reporting experience.
Experience supporting SEC reporting and public company financial statements; financial services exposure preferred.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC requirements, financial statement prep, and Excel.

Responsibilities

Manage preparation and filing of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and other disclosures.
Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, disclosures, and schedules.
Lead quarterly and annual reporting timelines with internal/external stakeholders.
Research U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements and support new accounting guidance.
Coordinate with external auditors and internal teams during reviews/audits.
Maintain effective financial reporting controls and documentation.
