Job summary

Lincoln Motor Company seeks a Technical Expert- Static and Dynamic Sealing to lead sealing design for powertrain and driveline systems, publishing requirements and guiding prototypes through concept to production.

You will coach global D&R engineers, manage DFMEA/PFMEA, and drive cost reduction while maintaining quality. This leadership role demands strong communication, systemic thinking, and hands-on CAE modeling.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering. Master’s degree preferred for leadership roles.
• 10 years of design & release experience with powertrain/driveline systems and components.
• 6+ years of design & release experience with sealing-relevant components.
• Experience with CAE tools and methods.
• Extensive knowledge of supplier manufacturing and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions and deep dives to balanced conclusions.
• Author and maintain design engineering specifications for sealing components.
• Co-Lead technical peer reviews with component supervisors and mentor engineers.
• Own sealing-relevant warranty spend and drive best practices.
• Create and maintain Core Engineering Documents and signoffs.
• Provide technical leadership to Underbody Systems teams.
