Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Technical Expert - Static and Dynamic Sealing to ensure sealing functions in powertrain components are delivered with mitigated risks. You will publish design requirements for gaskets, seals, o-rings, and flanges, and address sealing failures from testing or warranty analysis.

You will lead technical reviews, coach engineers globally, and own warranty spend. The role involves CAE tools, DFMEA/PFMEA, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize manufacturing

Qualifications

BS in Engineering required.
10+ years design & release experience in powertrain/driveline systems.
6+ years in sealing-relevant components.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discussions and deep dives to balanced conclusions.
Publish and maintain design requirements for sealing components.
Co-lead technical peer reviews and mentor global D&R engineers.
Own sealing-related warranty spend and drive best practices with suppliers.
Create and maintain Core Engineering Documents and signoffs.
