Ford Motor Company is seeking a Static Sealing D&R Engineer to design and launch vehicle body sealing and adhesive systems. You will own sealing components from design through launch, collaborating with Body Construction, Paint, and program teams to ensure water and air-tight integrity.

Ideal candidates have a engineering degree, CAD experience, and 2+ years in body structures or static sealing. The role requires cross-continental collaboration and strong communication skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 2+ years of experience with body structures or body exterior with static sealing preferred.
• 1 year of CAD experience.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of Ford software systems and internal tools is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Understand sealing design to meet vehicle attributes including NVH and corrosion.
• Lead sealing supplier selection to achieve program targets.
• Develop sealing strategies meeting customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Structures D&R and Vehicle Operations for robust sealing.
• Interface with engineers of surrounding components and systems.
