Job summary

10x Genomics, Inc. is seeking a multidisciplinary scientist to drive spatial biology R&D and product development.

You will leverage cell biology, proteomics, and immunology expertise to optimize tissue-based assays and contribute to cross-disciplinary teams across chemistry, computational biology, software, and microfluidics. The ideal candidate has a PhD with 5+ years in proteomics/imaging and hands-on experience with high-plex multiplexing and tissue-based techniques, in a fast-paced

Qualifications

PhD in Molecular/Cell Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry or related field.
5+ years of proteomics, imaging and spatial techniques experience, in situ hybridization preferred.
Hands-on with high-plex protein multiplexing technology.
Tissue processing, histology, immunohistochemistry, cryosectioning, immunofluorescence.
Experience with antibodies and QC/conjugation testing.
Strong analytical and communication skills; able to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Design and optimize tissue handling protocols for protein staining in FFPE samples.
Contribute to development and evaluation of spatial multiomics assays in tissues.
Perform experiments using imaging and biochemistry platforms; report results clearly.
Collaborate with computational biology and software engineers to interpret data.
Develop robust protocols for internal use across product development teams.
