Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Principal Scientist in Quantitative Systems Pharmacology in Cambridge, MA. You will lead the development of mechanistic, multiscale disease models to inform drug discovery and development, while integrating literature, data, and predictions for decision-making.

Ideal candidates hold a PhD or strong MSc with hands-on QSP experience, proficient in MATLAB, R or Julia, and capable of communicating complex modeling results to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master's with hands-on modeling experience.
• Experience generating disease and QSP models.
• Academic or industry research in modeling encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply multiscale mechanistic disease models to support drug discovery.
• Survey literature to identify essential physiological processes and modeling elements.
• Analyze data to inform modeling and assess model performance.
• Maintain documentation of model development and data analysis.
• Communicate predictions to stakeholders.
