Job summary

Sanofi in Cambridge, MA, seeks a Principal Scientist to lead Quantitative Systems Pharmacology modeling across programs. You will develop multiscale disease models, integrate data, and communicate predictions to stakeholders to inform drug discovery and development.

You will collaborate with biology, chemistry, and translational teams, apply machine learning and differential equation models, and contribute to strategy, methodological advances, and training of team members.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master's in systems pharmacology, biology, computational biology or related field.
• For PhD: 2+ years hands-on experience in disease/QSP modeling; academia considered.
• For Master’s: 4+ years in industry/pharma modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply multiscale computational models of diseases to support drug discovery and development.
• Survey literature to identify mechanistic elements, data, parameters, and assumptions.
• Identify and analyze preclinical and clinical data to inform modeling.
• Analyze simulation results and refine model performance and accuracy.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of model development and data analysis.
• Communicate modeling predictions to stakeholders.
