Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Seattle, WA is seeking a Senior Scientist to advance the molecular immunobiology program focused on CAR-T cell therapy. You will design experiments, optimize lentiviral vectors, and drive translational work from concept to validation.

You will collaborate across immunology, vector biology, and manufacturing teams, mentor junior scientists, and help shape platform strategies in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent advanced degree in Life Sciences with 2+ years in academia/industry.
• Experience with lentiviral vectors and engineering T cells.
• Strong ability to interpret complex datasets and present results.
• Excellent collaboration and communication in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute studies for platform building and hypothesis-driven research for lentiviral vectors.
• Develop strategies to increase yield, throughput, and robust assessment of lentiviral vector platforms.
• Collaborate with immunologists on T-cell activation pathways and CAR-T cell phenotype to assess vector cargo and delivery strategies.
• Interpret and synthesize information from complex datasets and communicate progress to the group.
