Job summary

Montebello Unified School District is seeking a Nutrition Services Assistant III to oversee all food production at a designated nutrition center. Qualifications

• Experience in quantity food service preparation, serving and storing including safe temperatures.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to food preparation and service.
• Experience training and providing work direction to staff.

Responsibilities

• Produce and serve food for meals in an assigned nutrition center.
• Maintain inventory records and conduct daily/monthly inventories.
• Train and supervise Nutrition Services Assistants II and others; lead at the site when needed.
• Record food usage and meals served for programs and off-site centers.
• Operate the serving area and cashier duties as required.
