The Secondary Assistant Lead is responsible for coordinating a team through the preparation, service and clean-up of all meals, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines.

This position plays a critical role in food safety, accurate record-keeping, meal program processes including special diet accommodations, and customer service within the school nutrition services (SNS) department.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minnesota Certified Food Protection Manager certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare meals and coordinate workflow of the kitchen.
• Ensure meals follow recipes for consistent taste, nutrition, and portions.
• Uphold food safety protocols and correct storage and temperatures.
• Record keeping, ordering and inventory management.
• Oversee SNS computer system functions and day-end procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of student accounts and eligibility.

Educación
