Job summary

Light Christian Academy, a nonprofit Christian school serving children impacted by poverty, is seeking a Full-Time Cook to prepare breakfast, lunch, and two snacks for approximately 45 students and staff.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 6:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m. Duties include meal prep, monthly menu planning, inventory, sanitation, and kitchen organization. We value dependable, organized team players with a heart for serving children in a Christ-centered ministry.

Qualifications

Full-Time Cook – Light Christian Academy

Light Christian Academy is a nonprofit Christian school serving children impacted by poverty and parental incarceration. Every student attends on a full scholarship made possible through the generosity of donors and grant partners.

We are seeking a Full-Time Cook to prepare breakfast, lunch, and two daily snacks for approximately 45 students and our staff.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m.

Responsibilities include:

• Food inventory
• Kitchen cleaning and organization
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards

We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and has a heart for serving children in a Christ-centered ministry.
