Responsibilities

• Lead on-site shop operations to maximize efficiency.
• Assign work to mechanics and shop staff; inspect for quality.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate shop personnel.
• Prioritize repair work orders and estimate costs; arrange outside repairs as needed.
• Set preventive maintenance procedures for all vehicles.
• Consult with colleagues to resolve repair problems and train staff.
• Perform major/minor repairs, diagnostics, and inspections timely.
• Maintain up-to-date maintenance records.
• Rebuild/replace vehicle parts as needed.
• Maintain safety procedures and ensure tools are safe.
