Job summary

Requirements include a High school diploma or GED, a valid Class B CDL with P/S endorsements within 3 months, and knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class B CDL with P and S endorsements within 3 months.
• Vehicle inspector license within 3 months preferred.
• Knowledge of diesel and gasoline engine maintenance.
• Able to pass DOT drug tests and annual physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform major and minor mechanical repairs on district vehicles.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and inspections as assigned.
• Maintain accurate records of time and materials.
• Inspect vehicles and evaluate systems and condition; service as needed.
• Operate district vehicles as required.
• Maintain clean shop and adhere to safety procedures.
