Job summary

Foothills Child Development Center in Easley, SC is seeking a Lead Teacher to support School Age children. You will prepare developmentally appropriate lesson plans and implement curriculum weekly while maintaining a safe, organized classroom.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and an associate or bachelor's degree; background checks are required. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:30am–6:30pm with competitive pay and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to pass all background checks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare developmentally appropriate lesson plans one week in advance.
• Implement weekly lesson plans covering all areas of child development.
• Maintain parent communication through our app.
• Establish professional rapport with families to provide quality care.
• Ensure safety and well-being of children and maintain a clean, organized classroom.
• Maintain child assessments and portfolios; conduct biannual conferences.
• Meet physical requirements and assist children as needed.
