Job summary

Child Care Resources Inc in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a dedicated Teacher to foster a cohesive teaching team and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons. You will support assistants, coordinate daily activities, and maintain a safe, nurturing classroom.

You will collaborate with families through regular updates and conferences, ensure records and safety policies are followed, and pursue professional growth to raise care quality and child outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in licensed child care.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and collaborate with staff, children and parents.
• Strong understanding of child development.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Background check and health screening clearance required.
• Associate’s Degree in early childhood education with at least 30 ECE credits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities.
• Lead by example to promote teamwork and coaching.
• Maintain open communication with parents through progress reports and conferences.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Maintain a clean, healthy classroom environment and child safety.
• Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers.
• Develop a personal professional development plan for continuous improvement.
