Position Summary

The Lead Kingdom Kidz Educator is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment while leading daily classroom operations. This individual will foster meaningful relationships with children and families, mentor classroom team members, and ensure compliance with South Carolina DSS licensing requirements and Academy policies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and daily activities.
• Create an engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and exploration.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
• Observe and document children's developmental progress.
• Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety.
• Supervise and support Teacher Assistants.
• Communicate professionally with families regarding children's growth and daily experiences.
• Maintain accurate attendance and classroom documentation.
• Follow all DSS regulations and Kingdom Kidz Academy policies.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day.

Hourly: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour, DOE.

Annual range: $24,960 - $31,200 per year.
