Job summary

Foothills Child Development Center is seeking a Lead Teacher to support School Age children. The role runs Monday through Friday from 9:30am to 6:30pm and offers compensation ranging from $15 to $17 per hour, depending on education and experience.

The center emphasizes competitive pay, paid trainings, and a generous benefits package. The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma or higher, be able to pass background checks, and possess an associate or bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; ability to pass all background checks.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans one week in advance using curriculum guides.
• Implement lesson plans weekly across child development areas; use parent app effectively.
• Establish professional rapport with families to provide quality care.
• Ensure safety and well-being of each child; maintain a clean, organized classroom.
• Maintain child assessments and portfolios; conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences.
• Perform physical tasks relevant to caring for young children, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
