Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in Forsyth, GA is seeking a Lead Construction Supervisor to effectively lead and manage crew daily activities and production according to project timelines, plans, specs, codes and industry standards.

You will train on safety and operational procedures, coordinate resources, and ensure safe, efficient, and timely completion while maintaining cost targets and reporting. Strong communication and team leadership are essential; overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; field experience preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate thorough knowledge to supervise craft workers.
• Ability to plan tasks, train on safety practices, and follow procedures.
• Understanding of scheduling, material control, and job cost management systems.
• Effective written and oral communication with crew and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials for safe, efficient construction.
• Ensure construction equipment is operated and maintained correctly.
• Maintain accurate reporting records: quantities, productivity, time sheets, daily reports.
• Assist in developing weekly schedules and sequencing of activities for the crew.
• Ensure timely completion of work within estimated costs while upholding quality.
• Enforce safety; lead toolbox talks and communicate safety concerns to crew.
• Monitor compliance with company policies by all supervised employees.
