Job summary

TIC – The Industrial Company is seeking a Lead Construction Supervisor to manage crews, coordinate daily activities, and ensure compliance with project plans, codes, and safety procedures on site.

You will train crews, monitor productivity, maintain records, and collaborate with supervision to keep on schedule and within budget. This is a hands-on role requiring strong communication, safety leadership, and the ability to work in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• Possesses strong communication and leadership skills for supervising craft workers.
• Demonstrates ability to plan and transmit written and oral instructions to crews.
• Ability to perform task planning, safety training, and adherence to policies.
• Knowledge of scheduling, material control, and job cost management fundamentals.
• Capable of understanding and following project plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials for safe, efficient construction.
• Ensure construction equipment is operated and maintained properly.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, time sheets, and daily reports.
• May assist in developing a weekly schedule and sequence activities for the crew.
• Ensure timely completion of work within estimated costs while upholding quality workmanship.
• Enforce safety rules and lead toolbox talks with crews.
• Communicate safety concerns, work scope, plans, and schedules to leadmen and crews.
• Monitor compliance with company policies by all employees under supervision.
