Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with field experience.
• Ability to supervise craft workers and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of scheduling, material control and job cost management fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Superintendent and Project Management to organize crew, materials, and equipment.
• Examine and inspect work progress, equipment and construction sites to verify safety and ensure specifications are met.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, time sheets and daily management reports.
• May assist in developing a weekly schedule and in carrying out sequence of activities for assigned crew.
• Responsible for timely completion of work assignments within estimated costs while maintaining quality.
• Responsible for safety of those on the crew and will conduct all operations according to all applicable safety rules.
• Develop and maintain crew attitude by conducting toolbox meetings and communicating safety concerns, work scope, plans and schedules.
• Monitor compliance by all employees with Company policies.
• Continuously check the work and adjust plans as required.
• Prioritize workload and operate within a defined budget.
