Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking an experienced Scaffold Builder Leadman to lead a crew in the safe erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding systems for industrial projects. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity with adherence to project specifications.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Scaffold Builder Leadman or Lead Scaffold Builder in industrial construction or maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of scaffold systems, erection methods, load capacities, and OSHA scaffold regulations.
• Ability to read scaffold drawings, blueprints, and work specifications.
• Experience leading crews and coordinating daily work activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of scaffold builders during erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffold systems.
• Read and interpret scaffold drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate installation.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor crew productivity and quality of work.
• Inspect scaffold components before use to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Ensure scaffolds comply with OSHA regulations and customer requirements.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce proper PPE usage.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment to support project schedules.
• Perform scaffold inspections and address hazards or deficiencies.
