Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Builder Leadman for the Austin Industrial outage in La Porte, TX. This on-site, full-time role supervises the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures during outages and must meet OSHA and site requirements.

Responsibilities include directing installation, hoisting materials, securing scaffold to structures, inspecting completed work, and ensuring safe operation in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• 4 years of Journeyman-level experience.
• NCCER Certification is preferred (not required).
• TWIC Card and Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise in the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures.
• Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA and site-specific requirements.
• Direct scaffolding operations, hoist materials, and secure structures for stability.
• Inspect and store scaffolding after dismantling and perform final inspections.
