Job summary

Austin Industrial seeks a Scaffold Builder Leadman for Freeport, TX to supervise the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding and other temporary structures. You will instruct on installation, oversee material transport, hoist and secure scaffolding, and ensure safety and productivity while complying with site and OSHA requirements.

This role requires NCCER Scaffold certification, a valid driver's license, and 4 years of journeyman-level experience; expect

Qualifications

NCCER Scaffold certification and a Valid Driver’s License.
4 years of Journeyman-level scaffolding experience.
Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow safety procedures and site instructions.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Supervise construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures.
Instruct on scaffold installation and oversee transport of scaffolding materials.
Erect scaffold and hoist materials; secure scaffolding to structures.
Inspect and stow scaffolding materials after dismantling; perform final inspection.
Adhere to OSHA, site-specific, and Austin Industrial requirements for erection and navigation.
