Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Builder Leadman to supervise the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding on-site in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires lead oversight, adherence to safety standards, and NCCER certification with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities include selecting scaffold types, directing installation, transporting and hoisting materials, and ensuring inspections and proper stowage after dismantling, with a strong emphasis on safety

Qualifications

• 4 years of Journeyman-level experience.
• NCCER certification and a valid driver's license are required.
• Ability to read and follow safety procedures and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures.
• Determine type of scaffold needed and instruct on installation.
• Oversee transport and erection of scaffold materials.
• Hoist scaffolding materials and secure Scaffold to permanent structures.
• Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA and site requirements.
• Perform final inspection of completed scaffolding and oversee dismantling when instructed.
