Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Builder - Leadman to supervise the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding and temporary structures at our site. This role involves leading crews and ensuring safety and compliance on all scaffold activities.

The position requires 3–5 years of journeyman experience, a strong commitment to OSHA standards, and the ability to oversee erection and dismantling operations with precision and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.
• Adheres to OSHA, site-specific, and Austin Industrial requirements for erecting and navigating scaffolding.

Responsibilities

• Work at heights with no fear.
• Determine type of scaffold needed and instruct on installation.
• Oversee transport and erection of tubular scaffold or other materials as directed.
• Hoist scaffolding materials to erect temporary structures.
• Secure and level locking sections of scaffolding.
• Secure scaffold to permanent structures for stability.
• Supervise dismantling when instructed.
• Inspect and store scaffolding materials after dismantling.
• Perform final inspection of completed scaffolding.
• Other duties as assigned.
