Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Builder Journeyman to construct, assemble, maintain, and dismantle tubular scaffolding and other temporary structures. A minimum of 3 years of experience in scaffolding is required, with the ability to operate safely under site-specific rules.

The role includes supervising 1 to 5 scaffold builder helpers, adhering to OSHA standards, and working in industrial environments. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with lubrication technician certification.
• Minimum 3 years scaffolding experience.
• Ability to read and write simple instructions; fluent English.
• May supervise 1 to 5 scaffold builder helpers.

Responsibilities

• Determine type of scaffold needed and inspect site for defects and hazards.
• Assemble, maintain, and dismantle tubular scaffolding and temporary structures.
• Transport scaffold materials and erect scaffolding to required dimensions.
• Adhere to OSHA, site-specific, and Austin Industrial requirements for scaffolding.
• Perform final inspection of completed scaffolding and stow materials after dismantling.
