Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Builder - Leadman to supervise the construction, assembly, maintenance and dismantling of tubular scaffolding and other temporary structures across our projects in the United States. You will ensure safe erection, inspection, and handover of completed scaffolds in compliance with OSHA and site requirements.

Applicants must have 3-5 years of journeyman experience; education is not required.

Qualifications

• Education – no minimum education requirements.
• Experience – 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the construction, assembly, maintenance and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures.
• Instruct on proper installation and ensure safe scaffold erection.
• Oversee transport of scaffolding materials and erect scaffold as directed.
• Hoist materials to raise scaffolds and secure scaffolding to structures.
• Inspect scaffolding and perform final checks upon completion.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA, site rules and company requirements.
