Job summary

General Atomics’ Electromagnetic Systems (EMS) Space Systems Manufacturing in Centennial, CO seeks a Satellite Manufacturing Engineer to support and execute the manufacturing through AIT of spacecraft parts and assemblies from component level to EVT and delivery.

You will lead planning, fabrication, and procurement of satellite parts, work with design engineering for manufacturability, and ensure safety, quality, schedule, and cost goals while supervising staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; 9+ years in manufacturing engineering.
• Experience in satellite AIT, systems integration, and testing within aerospace.
• Strong technical leadership and ability to coordinate workloads to deadlines.
• Ability to obtain TS-SCI clearance.
• Excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, fabrication, and procurement of satellite components per BOM and tests.
• Collaborate with design engineering for manufacturability and release for production.
• Support assembly, integration, and testing of spacecraft payloads and subsystems.
• Prepare technical documentation and risk/status reports.
• Provide technical guidance to staff and lead cross-discipline teams.
