Job summary

E-Space is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to own satellite production processes from design validation through ramp to rate, driving yield, cycle-time and throughput.

You will lead new product introduction, specify equipment, and mentor engineers on the production floor, applying Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S to optimize operations. Arlington, TX based, full-time role requiring hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing or process engineering in a high-rate production environment.
• Ownership of process design, validation, and ramp for complex electromechanical products.
• Strong DFM, GD&T, and root-cause / problem-solving skills (8D, DMAIC, PFMEA).

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing processes for satellite production lines - from design and validation through ramp to rate.
• Develop work instructions, routings, tooling, and fixtures for repeatable, high-yield builds.
• Drive yield, cycle-time, and throughput improvements using data and structured problem-solving.
• Lead new product introduction (NPI) with manufacturability input and smooth production handoff.
• Specify, justify, and commission production equipment, automation, and capacity expansions.
• Lead continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S) and resolve floor issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians, and set manufacturing engineering standards.
